Eighteen young musicians chose to get together in a project called Emanon. A project aiming at a high quality promotion of Flemish music among a wide audience. To achieve this goal only one criterion is used : quality at all levels. Thanks to an ambitious and challenging programming, everyone can fulfil oneself within the ensemble.
With its unique casting (double wind quintet, string quintet, guitar, percussion and piano). Emanon is beyond any doubt the most diverse ensemble in Flanders, a unique casting that also provides unique and original opportunities.
In its programming, Emanon endeavours to make the most of those possibilities. Emanon is convinced that theirs is a strong formula : young, talented musicians promoting Flemish music in a context of international works, in a unique group with quality, diversity and originality.
Emanon wants to reach as wide an audience as possible and to free classical music of the frequently too classical patterns and performances.
Emanon Ensemble is recognized and subsidised by the Flemish Government for the 2003-2006 period.
