The Almaviva guitar-voice duet was born at the Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music. Soprano Evelyn Bohen's clear and warm voice combines with the subtle tones of Johan Fostier's guitar, forming an ensemble with rich and original sonorities.
Both artists'lyrical temperaments express themselves naturally in a mainly latin-coloured repertoire, alternating both cult and folk music, passionate songs and intimist melodies, sometimes from Spain, sometimes from Italy or South-America.

Voice and guitar meet in the same wish to explore those impulses of the soul so wonderfully evoked by text and music, hence "Almaviva".

They performed at the "Semaine Internationale de la guitare" in Helecine, within the classical concerts at the Free University of Brussels and the European Chimay Foundation, at the "Espace Leopold Senghor" and in various cultural centers in Belgium.
